June 19, 2018 Renee Y

Take a cruise with a Western Carribean itinerary, and it's likely you'll stop in Jamaica. While some will tell you not to bother getting off the ship, we suggest you ignore the negative nancy's and experience Jamaica, after all, isn't part of the fun in cruising seeing the different places. Jamaica is one of those destinations that has so much to offer; the natural beauty of the rainforests and white-sand beaches, coupled with history and adventure, it has something for everyone.

Our favorite family-friendly way to spend a day in Jamaica is with a day pass to the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. Located about 20-25 minutes from both the ports at Falmouth and Montego Bay, Hilton Rose Hall is an all-inclusive resort loaded with amenities.

Family Road Trip - Route 66: Four Awesome stops in Arizona

June 1, 2018 Renee Y
Route 66 Graphic.png

Often referred to as the Mother Road U.S Route 66 is the most famous road in the United States. At its peak driving down Route 66 was the experience of a lifetime, motorists would travel some 2400 miles from Chicago, IL, to Santa Monica, California. Today the highway has been largely replaced by interstate but in some parts, Route 66 still forms the main street of small towns, and several extended sections of the original road have survived.

Traveling on Route 66 is a dream for many. While we didn't travel the entire length of the road, we were able to drive the best preserved and most atmospheric section in Arizona. The journey from Topock, AZ to Williams, AZ  is about 165 miles, factor in a few fun stops and you have a great day seeing the best of Route 66.

May 14, 2018 Renee Y
Grand Floridian Review Graphic.png

With more than 20 official Disney resorts to choose from it can be hard to decide which one is right for your family. While all of the resorts come with major perks like free transportation and "extra magic hours" in the park, there is a lot of variety between resorts. During a recent trip to Disney World, we stayed at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — one of the deluxe hotel options.

While this was not our first time at the Walt Disney World resort, it was our first time staying at an official Disney resort. On previous visits we'd stayed at Shades of Green, or off-property with family, we were definitely excited to try an official Disney resort and be fully immersed in the Disney World experience.
